Anyone know where to find a self-containing fingerprint scanner (does not need a computer for authorization)? - biometric door knob
I'm having trouble finding a biometric scanner that has no external processor for authorization is needed. It has a modular, low power consumption and small size. It seems that there are many out there on their own with multiple biometric devices based on (locking doors, etc..) Anyone have any ideas?

Find all that you need to run an external processing unit, and Stors database.
Units themselves are usually readers to send the information to a central computer for verification and authentication.
Otherwise, there is no way to tell who is or is not allowed in the building!
