I have Ready Brek Porridge Oats for breakfast, would there be a lot of calories in one bowl with whole milk? - does porridge contain lactose
I need something to keep me at least until lunch.
I'm trying to control my diet, I started an exercise regime, and to lose (the goal of around 1 stone (14 pounds) during the next few years or perhaps even less).
No Oats Oatmeal contains a large amount of carbohydrates? I know that slow energy is free, that good or bad for someone who is on a diet?

I'm on a diet and lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks and I always have porridge for breakfast!
I have Quaker Oats seasoned a - the taste of golden syrup so that it has a certain sweetness.
I use skim milk calories 216ish.
Porridge is great - but that's not a good idea.
Use half water, half and whole milk.

I hold my weight and still eat Bran Flakes / All Bran. They are low in fat and rich in fiber and low fill .... All Bran also takes longer to stop chewing up trick! Good luck!
Porridge / Ready Brek - brilliant plan ... None of fat and provides plenty of power. Excellent on a diet!
- However:
Make a U-pond-fat milk - milk is not everything. You will not notice a difference in taste. If you sweeten a little sugar or golden syrup, and it very well.
Try to lose weight slowly and you will probably not put the weight back.
Just the right choice when they occur and not be penalized if you have a house, from time to time:) The change in normal routine, rather than change things too much, I believe, is the key to permanent weight loss.
